Mom's Apron Strings, a symbol of LOVE.
Just as apron
strings secure the cloth to protect, so do
Mom's apron strings secure the family with ties of
LOVE. From our birth we children cling to the security of
Mom's apron strings. Like any cloth, over the years the
Apron strings gets stretched, fades and frays, but it still has
the strength to hold the fabric together.
As we grow
we pull on Mom's apron strings, testing its
love, testing its strength, and forever stretching the fabric.
Try as we must to become our own individuals, we cannot
really break Mom's apron strings. Because no matter how
thin the fabric may become, the strongest fabric we cannot
break, is the fabric of Mom's love.
