| Dedication
of the Parish Center Art Gallery |
|
| On
Sunday, October 9, we will be dedicating the
Parish Center Art Gallery, immediately following
the 11:15 a.m.services! Rick Westbury will
join the Art Gallery Committee - Jerry
Hallan, Susan Dehlinger and Alice Kirkpatrick - to
present and bless the over 60 pieces of art
produced by Christ Church parishioners. The art
represents a variety of mediums and styles and has
beautifully enhanced our Parish Hall entrances,
the Dining Room, meeting rooms and the
Contemporary Worship space. Light lunch snacks
will be served at the dedication and tours of the
art will be provided. |

CHRIST
CHURCH CARES UNIVERSITY takes place on
Saturday, October 15. This day of training offers
a selection of 75-minute continuing education
courses for those involved in the ministries of
Christ Church Cares, and anyone in the parish or
larger community interested in learning more.
Classes include: Prayer? Why Bother?!; Developing
An Attitude of Gratitude; Know Thyself: Lessons in
Relationships; Trust, Judgment &
Self-Disclosure; Brain Moves and more. The
all-inclusive registration fee is $15.00. Full

Parishioner Shares Experience |

| One
of our parishioners, Mark Tondreault, will be
speaking to the youth on Wednesday, October 19 at
7 p.m. in the Contemporary Worship Space. The
program is open to anyone, teens and adults, who
would like to hear his message about making
choices. He will speak about his life and his
struggle with addiction to alcohol, as well as his
relationship with a merciful God. |
| Auditions
for Children's Christmas Musical |
|
| Beginning
Wednesday, October 12, the Music Ministry of
Christ Church will be holding auditions at 4:30
p.m. in the Choir room for roles in the Christmas
musical, Mission Possible. The musical will be
performed on Sun., Dec. 18 at the 9 a.m. church
service and the 11:15 a.m. Contemporary service.

Oct. 30 at St. Paul's by the Sea where members of
Christ Church's choirs, Christ Church Mallory
EpiscoBells and St. Paul's choirs will offer this
special evening of sacred music. |

Flight trip to Cumberland Island - Solo
Flight will take a day trip Oct 22 to Cumberland
Island. Come see the wild life and explore
the historic structures. Bring a sack lunch and
$25 for the ferry. See church web site for
