We are pleased to
announce that Boril Ivanoff will be offering us special music this
Sunday as he will be joined by his drummer and bassist, and Claire
will provide vocals for all of the service music. Jazz music adds
an exciting dimension to our worship and we hope you will come
worship and enjoy the music!

Bishop Chalfant will be leading a
class immediately
following services starting March 13, 2011
and continuing through
April 10, 2011. “Atonement
and Salvation theologies explored in the light of Jesus’
teachings. A challenging look at a non-scapegoat approach to
Jesus’ death,” will be the topic of
exploration and discussion.

The
goal of HOPE is to help people in need within our congregation at
Christ Church Serenata Beach. When a need is identified, Bishop Chalfant and/or Janet Ballou
should be notified. Janet will coordinate the activities that the HOPE volunteers can provide.Ways we can help: Running errands, Visiting, Provide meals,
Transportation to appointment/activities.

Sign
up for our new Bread Ministry
- a ministry of hospitality to welcome
newcomers to Christ Church
at Serenata. Deliver a loaf of warm bread to a newcomer's home and let
them know that we look forward to welcoming them back often to our
worship community! Bread Ministry volunteers will be assigned by
neighborhoods to limit travel.
